I’m a technical product manager for AI and engineering software. I work out how engineers actually do their jobs and decide what an AI product should do for them. Then I help a cross-functional team build it and show that it works.
I came to product management from engineering. For several years I built robotics and control systems: ROS2 software for rehabilitation exoskeletons, reinforcement-learning research for legged robots, and embedded controllers. On most of those projects I also ended up writing the requirements, coordinating the team and writing up the evidence. Since March 2026 that has been my full-time role.
When the user is a control engineer, a roboticist or a developer, that background lets me follow their workflow, question an architecture and judge whether a result is real.
- I started in engineering: robotics software, real-time control and simulation, in university labs and on freelance projects.
- I moved into product through ViGenX, my own project, and was promoted to Technical Product Manager in March 2026.
- Now I work on AI products that make complex engineering workflows faster and easier to trust.
Experience
Technical Product Manager
Agentic-AI startup (name withheld) · Mar 2026 to present
I own product for an AI-assisted control-design platform. I took it from concept to an MVP that has completed two proof-of-concept cycles and passed the internal product-readiness gate. Case study
- Wrote the market requirements document, business plan and business model canvas.
- Ran market research, competitive analysis and more than 100 customer interviews, and turned the findings into requirements and a prioritized roadmap.
- Translate control-engineering workflows into user stories, acceptance criteria and validation logic, and maintain and prioritize the backlog.
- Coordinate seven engineers and three stakeholders across AI, control engineering, software, product design and QA, and check completed features against their acceptance criteria before release.
- Wrote the go-to-market strategy and plan for the next phase, a formal B2B product-market-fit programme.
The company name and customer details are confidential.
Robotics Software Engineer
Same startup · Nov 2025 to Mar 2026
- Designed an agent workflow that generates operating points, state-space models, controller candidates and closed-loop simulations from nonlinear system descriptions. I also integrated linearization, stability and frequency-domain checks into an automated verification pipeline.
Product and technical lead, ViGenX
Independent open-source project · 2025 to present
- Defined and built an AI video editor that turns a plain-language brief into a workflow you can inspect and edit, and waits for human approval before rendering.
- Showed the initial MVP at Diginext’s 10th Startup Camp. The public repository has been open since June 2026 and is pre-1.0. Case study
Researcher and robotics software engineer
AI and Dynamic Systems Research Lab, Iran University of Science and Technology · Nov 2024 to present
- Define requirements, evaluation criteria and success metrics for reinforcement-learning locomotion and risk-aware navigation experiments.
- Co-authored research on hierarchical reinforcement learning for quadruped navigation (ICRoM 2025). I designed the hierarchical architecture and implemented the reinforcement-learning path-planning component. Research summary
- Helped move a 5-DOF robotic arm from a proprietary tool to ROS2, RViz and MoveIt, with a hardware-in-the-loop bridge.
Freelance robotics and control engineer
Short client projects via Karlancer and Parscoders · 2024 to 2025
- Delivered control-system design, neural-network modelling and CAD assignments.
Robotics engineer and research assistant
FUM Center of Advanced Rehabilitation and Robotics Research (FUM CARE) · Feb 2022 to Aug 2024
- Built modular ROS2 software in C++ and Python for exoskeleton sensing, motor control, calibration and real-time assistive torque.
- Project manager and first author for the FUM-NEXA knee-exoskeleton controller. Case study
- Implemented real-time gait-phase detection for the FUM-HEXA hip exoskeleton. The project team received the Iraj Yazdanbakhsh First Prize.
